Don Anderson is a veteran sports administrator who has worked with several Jamaican teams for more than four decades. In his book “Seoul to Beijing” he shared his experiences from managing Jamaican teams at six Olympic Games. He is also former First Vice President of the Jamaica Olympic Association and a former chairman of the now-defunct Professional Football Association of Jamaica.
In this episode, Don discusses the management side of the Olympic Games. He shares his favourite Olympic Games and the type of planning that goes into managing a country’s team going to the Olympic Games. He also spoke about the role of the Chef De Mission in management, which he was for five Olympic Games.
